We have had another very full and exciting week! The children have been really enjoying working in small groups to make a volcano using newspaper, kitchen roll and junk modelling - thank you for your donations of resources to help with this. Next week we will be painting our volcanoes and thinking about ways to make them erupt.
In science this week the children have been getting to grips with the differences between reptiles and amphibians, and naming as many as they can.
In maths, we have been practicing how to write numbers in words; learning about 3D shapes and solving missing number problems involving addition and subtraction.
In English, the children have been thinking of questions to ask our missing dinosaur, who has been causing mayhem in Tunbridge Wells, and they have been writing statements using the past tense to say what she has been doing.
Have a great weekend,
Ash Class Team.
