It has been nice to see the sun this week and we have enjoyed spending more time outside, for example we went outside to erupt our volcanoes!
This week the children have been working really hard writing their baby Dinosaur stories. We also described what our volcano eruption looks like, ready for some work on adjectives and poetry next week.
In Maths we have been looking at 3D shapes and finding fractions (halves and quarters). Next week we will be looking at multiplication and will be solving simple word problems.
Next Friday is our RE Easter Day, which is also Red Nose Day. The children can come to school in their own clothes for a donation of £1.00 but they must be suitable for outdoor learning and Art activities.
On Thursday there will be a Mum's tea at 2.30pm. If you would like to go and haven't yet booked please do so by Tuesday so that we have plenty of cake!
We still haven't received all the E-safety letter's back that went home a few weeks ago. We have some spares so please let us know if you need another copy.
Don't forget that our new website has lots of information on it, including contact letters so please check it regularly.
Have a great weekend
The Beech Team
