We have had a great day today. We have learnt lots about Easter round the fire pit, in the Woods, doing art work and making Easter gardens.
We have been learning about multiplication in maths this week, understanding the symbol X as 'groups of'. The children have been able to show their understanding by making groups practically. In Literacy the children wrote beautiful shape poems about volcanoes and have been busy making some special cards...
Reports were sent home today, please find it in their bag.
A quick reminder about the trip on Monday to Hilbert Park:
Children need to come in their own clothes. We are going to be explorers so if they want to wear a cap or bring binoculars they can. Weather permitting we are going to have our lunch at the park (the kitchen are preparing us pack lunches) and be back at school for the afternoon. For an end of term treat we are planning to watch 'The Good Dinosaur'. As this is a 'PG' please let us know if you do not want your child to watch it.
Have a great weekend,
The Beech Team
