We have had such a lovely week. The children thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the park and were fantastically behaved. They have enjoyed making chocolate Easter nests and we are sure they all loved eating them! The children had lots of fun on the Easter egg hunt today with thanks to the PTA. We have also been making our own moving vehicles using wheels and axles in DT.
After the Easter holidays we will be writing our holiday news, concentrating on writing in the past tense and remembering the spelling rules for adding ed. In maths we will be learning the different units of measure for weight (Kg/g), volumes (Litres and ml), length (m/cm) and temperature ( ˚C) and to read different scales.
The words for the first week back are: every climb seagull lighthouse break see sea rocks beautiful behind If you would like to practise any extra here are some words the children are finding tricky – break, steak, pretty, great, ask, friend, our, kind, put, push, pull, said, says, clothes, everybody.
Please continue to practice the spellings we have already learnt. They can be found on the contact notes which are in Willow class section of the website.
We hope you have a good and restful break!
See you on Tuesday 18th April
