Dear Parents,

This week our class dinosaur went on holiday! He sent us a letter everyday telling us where he had been. He went to a fancy mud kitchen restaurant, made some new dinosaur friends and played in a giant park. We made some maps showing others the journey he has been on. Hopefully he will return next week! We have had lots of fun making up stories and acting them out. We have been learning subtraction, taking away from a group of 5 and 10. We have been learning how to throw and catch in PE and about the Easter Story in RE.

Next week we will continue to retell and write our dinosaur story. We will be learning to name and order the days of the week and subtract on a number line by counting backwards. We are starting to look at new life and life cycles. We have some chicken eggs that will be hatching soon!

Friday 24th March - RE day. Children are allowed to come to school in own clothes. Please can these be clothes that the children can get a little messy in!

Reports sent home.

The weather has been lovely this week, may it continue! Please can we remind you that children need to have a coat in school at all times as the weather can be unpredictable. Some children have bought sunglasses in, these need to be worn before and after school only as they can get broken and lost.

There has been no library this week as its coming to the end of term. If you have any library books at home, please bring them back to school. Thank you.

If you have any E-Safety forms to bring back, please can they be returned to school next week!

Have a lovely weekend,

The Reception Team
