What an exciting week! On Wednesday we were visited by a dinosaur! First we met two baby dinosaurs and their keepers and then we were lucky enough to meet a Rex the T-Rex! We have shared news from our half term and shared our special books.
Next week we have a number of things happening. On Tuesday we will be taking part in drama workshops and we will be tasting pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. Please could you reiterate any allergies to staff via the contact book so that we ensure all children are fine to taste these things (lemon, fruit etc). On Thursday it is World Book Day. We will not be dressing up for this day, but the children are welcome to bring in their favourite book to share with a friend (please ensure these are named).
If you have any plastic bottles at home which we could use please send them in - water bottles etc so that we can use them in our water tray.
Just to clarify as we have had a couple of queries - when you read with your child at home could you please pop a short comment into their reading record. This will help us to track their progress with their reading both at home and within school.
As a number of children have now turned 5 we just wanted to remind parents that milk is only free for children who are 4. If your child has turned 5 then milk must be paid for to ensure your child receives this each day. Please speak to Angie in the office if you would like further information.
If you have an e-safety letter at home, please ensure both sides are signed and return this to school.
Have a lovely weekend.
