31/3/17

Dear Parents,

We have had such a lovely week. The children thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the park and were fantastically behaved. They have enjoyed making chocolate Easter nests and we are sure they all loved eating them! The children had lots of fun on the Easter egg hunt today with thanks to the PTA. We have also been making our own moving vehicles using wheels and axles in DT.

After the Easter holidays we will be writing our holiday news, concentrating on writing in the past tense and remembering the spelling rules for adding ed. In maths we will be learning the different units of measure for  weight (Kg/g),  volumes (Litres and ml),  length (m/cm)  and  temperature ( ˚C)  and to read different scales.

The words for the first week back are:  Every climb seagull lighthouse break see sea rocks beautiful behind

Please continue to practice the spellings we have already learnt. They can be found on the contact notes which are in Willow class section of the website.

  • We have the Church service on the 18th of April in the afternoon. If you are able to help walk please let us know via the contact book.
  • We have a trip to the seaside planned for the 4th of May

Please ensure your child ALWAYS has a rain mac at school, this is England and even a nice start can turn to rain. We have already had several children without coats.

We hope you have a good and restful break!

Happy Easter.

See you on Tuesday 18th April
